Hail Brothers !
I'm a norwegian manowar fan that traveled from norway to USA to see the consert on fester and friends the second of april .
Well , the people at fester & friends was incredible , letting me in free ... hehe ... :)
When there i've talked to many brothers of metal from america .. and Hail to all of you !!! hope see you soon ... :)
The first band was ok ... but the second band was ...:(
But then we heard this intro music and i took off my earplugs ... :) The voise off orison wells where so powerfull , and i understod soon that my stereo home was real junk , and is not worth the sound of manowar . Then i saw Joey back whit scott counting ... and the first song began ... they played ... :
Manowar , Blood of my Enemies , Kill with power , fighting the world , Metal worriors . Then there where silense , and we saw joey came up on the stage whith this 8 string bass ... he began playing ... and it was a new intro for heart of steel ... wow , it was really cool ... Eric had a incredible ... and i had to tell all you brothers and sisters of meatal worldwide : ERIC'S VOICE ON STAGE IS 100000 TIMES BETTER THAN ON THE RECORDS !!!!!
And you don't really can now how fucking good they are before you have been on a manowar consert , because all steroes are junk ... manowar have real eqiptment !!! Then joey begin playing on a bass solo ... and the ones in the front row where nearly crashed by the ones behind .. so joey ran of the stage and piced up the microfone ... I don't remember the whole speak , but i remember he said : I DON'T TAKE FUCKING BULLSHIT FROM ENYBODY !!! and after the speak everybody yelled .. : Joey , Joey !!!!! He is brilliant !!! So he played a solo , and he also put in string of a bumbelbie in it !!!
Then Eric came up on the stage , he said that they couldn't play the new album , but they could play one song : Warriors of the World !!!! The song begins with drums , then the gitar and base come ... and when they hit the rytmn , you just have to bend over and surrender ... Eric begins in a low voice .. really cool ... :) But he is soon up ... hehe .. :) The refrain is also cool , but when the songs stop and the gitar play , while Eric sings ... That part really kick ass , ohh my fucking god , i have never in my whole fucking life heard something so good ... and how powerful it gets :):):):):)
The song get right into kings of metal , they played also : Outlaw , The Power - Hail and kill ... cool intro :):) Then there was a break and everybody yelled : Manowar , manowar :)
The played : Wheels of fire and black wind fire and steel ...
It was my first manowar show , and it was so fucking .... :):):):):) And the sound of the band was so fucking good ... :)
The brothers of metal in america where really good to sing ... and its not only me in the world that practise after the records of manowar ...:) The crowd sang so loud that we nearly didn't hear Eric sing :)
The consert was so good , i don't have words for it ... i just hope manowar come to Norway ... cause i've speen all my money on this consert , so i don't have money to see them on Gods of metal Festival ... hehe :) But Hail to all brothers and sisters worldvide ... hope to see you and the kings soon ... :)
